Dogs get aggressive for a variety of reasons. Fear and possessiveness are common causes of dog aggression.
If you suspect your pet is becoming aggressive, seek help as soon as possible before things get out of hand. A dog owner is the one responsible for ensuring that his dog obtains the necessary training to assist in remedying such behavior.
It’s important to remember that aggressive dogs aren’t born with this temperament. Many experts believe that aggressiveness stems from a lack of or inadequate training. Without this, a dog would react to events based on instincts, which we humans perceive as aggression.
Sunshine is a ferocious rescue Chihuahua that stayed in a shelter. She’s a fierce dog that never hesitates to show her teeth to anyone who dares to stare at her. People jumped to the next available dog for adoption as a result.
The enraged Chihuahua was forced to stay in a kennel for a while until her photo was put on the internet, which a woman named Tammy noticed. Tammy could tell Sunshine was aggressive just by looking at the photo. Tammy’s determination, however, was unaffected.
To meet the Chihuahua, she drove to Philadelphia. Tammy and Sunshine’s first encounter was captured on video.
Growling, ears back, stiff body posture, and, of course, teeth-baring were all indicators of aggression on the Chihuahua’s face.
Sunshine appeared to be in a state of fear. She was terrified of the strangers who were staring at her.
Eventually, Sunshine warmed up and even became an adorable puppy to the one human who offered her extra love and care when Tammy chose to be good to her. All dogs, including those thought to be violent, deserve a second opportunity.
