Diesel is a sweet little 4-year-old Weimaraner who is not like any other dog. He loves wearing all sorts of clothes and prefers getting cucumbers as treats than the ordinary ones available in pet stores.
Diesel’s mama, Kelsey Bundy, shared that her dog is the funniest pup she has ever met. She recalled that Diesel is like a fashionista who enjoys being extra dapper with his massive collection of bow ties and bandanas.
Kelsey said that Diesel might be a different pup, but the unique thing about him is how he plays with his teddy bear. She shared Diesel loves squeaky toys just like any other dog, but his obsession with his stuffed toy is a whole different level.
Kelsey noticed that Diesel would pick the stuffed toy up and run around the house in circles with the bear’s little feet covering his eyes. She believes that Diesel must have had some built-in sonar because he surprisingly never bumps into anything.
Kelsey shared that she and her husband, Brian Willis Bundy, were unsure if Diesel’s little eye-covering quirk during playtime is intentional because they noticed that it is the only way he plays with his teddy bear. So the couple researched why Diesel played the way he does and came across Sit Means Sit Dog Training’s page.
It turns out that the four-legged pooch might be covering his eyes to please his human parents or to show submission. Fortunately, dogs like Diesel tend to increase the frequency of that behavior whenever they get good feedback from their humans.
The Sit Means Sit Dog Training page handler also wrote that dogs are eager to receive positive feedback again whenever they see their owners react positively every time they put their paws over their faces. The couple eventually understood that it is just Diesel’s way of showing how extra adorable he is.
